Who Is Hairy Hides

We are a father and son run business based out of Emmett Idaho. Hairy hides was started from out the back of our family butcher shop after seeing how much byproduct we have to throw away from the custom butchering process. Because of laws keeping us from selling individual cuts of byproduct meat straight to people we sell to dogs instead. The organ meat we sell is the same organ meat going into hundreds of peoples freezers every day, only we give it to dogs. It is just as fresh, natural, and locally sourced as picking up meat from your local butcher for yourself. Our hide treats aren’t put through chemical baths, striping the good leather from the throw away raw hide that becomes every pasty white, chemical infused, cheap, toxic, rawhide roll you see everywhere. We use only two non-toxic chemicals to process our hide treats, water and air, (yes H2O and oxygen are chemicals on the periodic table). We wash the hide till the water runs clean, then take all the water out, and that’s it. We sell only all natural zero chemical products so you know exactly what your dog is getting.

Why we do what we do

It is our mission to provide healthy, organic, unprocessed, treats for our furry friends. We believe in giving our dogs the freshest and most authentic treats that k-9s are meant to eat. There are too many companies selling products full of unnecessary fillers, GMOs, chemicals, and processed materials that are not good for our dogs. To us our pets are family and we only give our family what’s best for them.
